Caboose
The “Caboose” was originally formed in 1971 and operated
as a “House Band” at one of the popular Oakville, Ontario
night spots.
In 1973 the band “Hit the Road” and
performed very successfully across the central and northern Ontario club circuit.
“
Caboose” consists of three exciting musicians, who have, over the
past thirty-one years, developed an extremely diverse repertoire and
musical style.
Hal Allison/Rhythm Guitar, Paul Billinghurst/Lead
Guitar and Doug Maeck/Bass Guitar offer superb vocals and harmonies in traditional
and contemporary
music. These seasoned professionals' musical tastes run the full spectrum
from Traditional and New Country to 50-60’s Rock”n”Roll.
Together the members of “Caboose” have perfected a most unique
style and sound. Their musical offerings and performances are genuine crowd
pleasers. “Caboose” performs regularly at taverns, clubs
and dances on a province wide basis. They also perform at community-sponsored
events, private social functions and summer or fall fair activities.
For those larger functions a drummer can be added or for the more intimate
or smaller settings Hal & Paul can produce a “Duo” show
that is second to none.
